Enjoy Cape May charm in Wildwood Crest!
Wildwood Crest is the most family oriented area of the island. Our condo is in the fully restored and renovated “Aster Inn” built in 1910 and offers many amenities as listed below. Its beautiful, relaxing wrap around porch is what our guests (and we) adore most and could be why our guests tend to come back every year! It is just south of the boardwalk and the noise, yet close enough to take a short ten-minute walk to the action. On the doorstep is The Jellyfish Café, Dairy Delight, Primo's, Gourmet Deli, Lizzi’s Ice Cream, and more.
The Wildwood Crest bike/walking path is along the oceanfront promenade that runs from the boardwalk and onwards to Centennial Park. On the path, bikes of all types can be rented for bike riding along the path and onto the famous Wildwood boardwalk. Wildwood Crest beaches are the finest on the island and the east coast, and they are free! In the apartment there are beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys,a beach umbrella and a beach trolley for transporting all your gear set you up for a fun-filled beach day.
Just a short car ride away, heading south, the causeway takes you to Cape May—a beautiful city full of Victorian architecture, excellent boutiques, famous fudge, galleries, estates, shopping along the Washington Street outdoor mall. You can also take the Cape May-Lewes ferry to the outlet malls in Delaware and shop til you drop. If the zoo is your thing, The Cape May County Zoo is free and only 15 minutes away. Boating, fishing and jet skiing are just a few blocks away on Sunset Lake.
At night, there are so many fun things going on! On the 2 mile long boardwalk, there are at least four large amusement piers, games, waterparks, food, and the tramcar—a must do. You can bring a beach chair and your dancing shoes to the free outdoor concerts that happen every week at the oceanfront Centennial Park. It's a really great night out for all ages with some excellent tribute, soul, and oldies bands. Or you can take in a meal, show and try you luck in Atlantic City, only 40 minutes away.
PLEASE NOTE:Guests must bring their own linens as none are provided. You should plan on bringing your own sheets, pillowcases hand towels, beach towels and bath towels. Alternatively, there are linen rental companies that rent all of this to guests.

We have stayed here for the past three years while in Wildwood Crest and have never been disappointed. The condo has always been immaculate and the front porch is our favorite pick for evening conversations.

What a fabulous place. This is our second time staying here and we enjoyed it even more than the first. The furnishings are beautiful and extremely well maintained. Took the short drive to Cape May several times and did some great shopping and had some tasty dinners. Spent some time on the wrap around porch watching the sunset. The owner has quite a collection of pamphlets of nearby attractions and restaurants, so we took advantage of them. The location is great, with on street parking at no cost, and a quiet setting. Made lots of nice memories.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. It's great for all ages. There was always a nice breeze up on the porch. We ate out there every night. There is a nice upstairs bunk area which was perfect for our friends who had 3 children. The bedroom downstairs was wonderful as well. The decor as so cozy. The beds were comfy. There's a great outdoor shower - perfect for getting rid of all the sand. Not too mention it feels very refreshing. There were sand toys for the children, boogie boards, and chairs. The beach caddy was a big help. The only downside if any, would be that you do have to take the stairs to the second floor, so it would not be ideal for people who have walking disabilities. There is plenty of places within walking distance - the Wildwood Boardwalk, for instance and an ice cream parlor on the corner which has the best ice cream. There is an Acme about 10 blocks away. There is also a nice rectangular pool in the courtyard. Just bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are numerous in the garden area. Cape May is a 10-minute ride and a perfect place when beach weather is not optimal. Also, there is a nice bike path near the beach for kids. The beach access is four blocks away and there is no fee, which is an added plus.
